Common use of PARAGRAPH 3 MODIFICATION Clause in Contracts

PARAGRAPH 3 MODIFICATION. The following is added to Paragraph 3 of your Employment Agreement: Nothing in this paragraph (i) prohibits you from using or disclosing Confidential Information in connection with reporting possible violations of law or regulation to any governmental agency or entity or attorney in accordance with any whistleblower protection provisions of applicable law or regulation including 18 U.S.C. § 1833 or (ii) requires notification or prior approval by Cerner of any reporting described in clause (i). However, any disclosure must be made in accordance with the applicable law or regulation and in a manner that limits-to the furthest extent possible-disclosure of Confidential Information.
