Paramedic Preceptor Program. When assigned a precept student by the Department paramedics shall receive a total of $1,500 paid over 6 consecutive pay periods at $250 per pay period. The first payment will be made on the first pay period of the assignment. The parties understand this payment is not factored into Regular Rate of Pay and is not PERS reportable. Employees in a Quality Improvement Leader (QIL) role will not be eligible for this stipend. In no case shall a precept student be assigned to a non QIL position when a QIL is available to take a student unless otherwise authorized by the Administrative Battalion Chief.
