Common use of Parent Company Guarantee or Performance Clause in Contracts

Parent Company Guarantee or Performance. Bond The Contractor shall within 14 days of the date of this Contract deliver to the Employer the Contractor a Parent Company Guarantee duly executed by its ultimate parent company in the form set out in Schedule 11 in favour of the Employer. If the Contractor does not have a parent company, or does not have a parent company reasonably acceptable to the Employer, the Contractor will procure that a guarantor enters into the form of performance bond in set out in Schedule 12 in favour of the Employer for an amount equal to 10% of the Contract Sum (rounded down to the nearest whole number).
