Parental Deferral. Parenting Leaves shall result in an automatic one-year deferral of consideration for renewal of a tenure track appointment. This deferral does not preclude the academic staff member from applying for consideration for renewal of tenure track according to the original timelines, applying for early consideration, or being eligible for subsequent deferrals.
