Participating Company. Participating Company" means: (a) Adaptec; (b) any Person (other than an individual) that Adaptec has approved for participation in, has accepted participation in, and which is participating in, a Plan sponsored by Adaptec; and (c) any Person (other than an individual) which, by the terms of such Plan, participates in such Plan or any employees of which, by the terms of such Plan, participate in or are covered by such Plan.
