PARTICIPATING INSTITUTION. Endorse IHC online courses, and market the courses available to students eligible for the program (Phi Theta Kappa members and those eligible for membership). • Set annual enrollment goals for the program. Coordinate communications with Phi Theta Kappa and provide on-­‐‑campus support of marketing and recruitment of students eligible for IHC courses. • Use the IHCs and ILIAD curricula as recruitment tools for raising Phi Theta Kappa membership acceptance rates, which may include informing them of the $1,000.00 scholarships negotiated to reduce the cost to the institution for make the curricula available to eligible students. • Provide necessary student data to recruit, enroll, track, and assess outcomes of students participating in IHC courses. Adhere to Phi Theta Kappa’s technical specifications and/or instructions for exchange of student date needed to complete and assess the IHC program. • Articulate successful completion of IHCs and translate learning outcomes into academic credit. This may be accomplished by incorporating IHCs into an existing course and providing scheduling and faculty facilitation, or it may be through assignment of an appropriate course section number with the IHC university faculty and Phi Theta Kappa faculty as instructors of record and self-­‐‑ paced completion by the students. • Commit to providing financial subsidies for the program necessary to offset any cost differentials between revenue generated and the Consortial Partner expenses. • Participate with Phi Theta Kappa in the ongoing assessment of program effectiveness and provide advisement to Phi Theta Kappa for the selection of provider universities and programs that best meet the international programming needs of students. Additional Terms: • Protection for the Provider Universities’ ownership of the International Honors Certificates online courses and their branding and style guideline usage; protection for Phi Theta Kappa’s ownership of the capstone (ILIAD) and branding. • A seven (7) year term with renewal for a further five (5) years.   • Participating Provider A Provider that has a Provider Agreement with United Concordia Dental pertaining to payment for Covered Services rendered to a Member.

  • Participating FFI The term Participating FFI means a Financial Institution that has agreed to comply with the requirements of an FFI Agreement, including a Financial Institution described in a Model 2 IGA that has agreed to comply with the requirements of an FFI Agreement. The term Participating FFI also includes a qualified intermediary branch of a Reporting U.S. Financial Institution, unless such branch is a Reporting Model 1

  • Special Rules Regarding Related Entities and Branches That Are Nonparticipating Financial Institutions If a Finnish Financial Institution, that otherwise meets the requirements described in paragraph 1 of this Article or is described in paragraph 3 or 4 of this Article, has a Related Entity or branch that operates in a jurisdiction that prevents such Related Entity or branch from fulfilling the requirements of a participating FFI or deemed-compliant FFI for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code or has a Related Entity or branch that is treated as a Nonparticipating Financial Institution solely due to the expiration of the transitional rule for limited FFIs and limited branches under relevant U.S. Treasury Regulations, such Finnish Financial Institution shall continue to be in compliance with the terms of this Agreement and shall continue to be treated as a deemed- compliant FFI or exempt beneficial owner, as appropriate, for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, provided that:

  • Participating Teachers A participating Teacher is a unit member who receives assistance and/or coaching to improve instructional skills, classroom management, knowledge of subject, and related aspects of teaching performance. There are two (2) categories of Participating Teachers.
