Common use of Participating State Clause in Contracts

Participating State. A state, the District of Columbia, or one of the territories of the United States that is listed in the Solicitation as intending to participate in the Solicitation. Upon execution of the Participating Addendum, a Participating State becomes a Participating Entity; however, a Participating State listed in the Solicitation is not required to become a Participating Entity.
