PARTICIPATION AUTHORIZED. The Corporation's participation in MacTarnahan Limited Partnership as a Partner and the execution, delivery, and performance of the documents described herein have been duly authorized by all necessary action by the Corporation and do not conflict with, result in a violation of, or constitute a default under (A) any provision of its articles of incorporation, bylaws, or any agreement or other instrument binding upon the Corporation or (B) any law, governmental regulation, court decree, or order applicable to the Corporation.
PARTICIPATION AUTHORIZED. The Secretary of Defense may, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, authorize the participation of members of the armed forces and Department of Defense civilian personnel in any multi- national military center of excellence for pur- poses of—
(1) enhancing the ability of military forces and civilian personnel of the nations partici- pating in such center to engage in joint exer- cises or coalition or international military op- erations; or
(2) improving interoperability between the armed forces and the military forces of friend- ly foreign nations.
