Party A’s Promise. 1. Party A promises to Party B to: (i) Use its best efforts to perform the provisions in the grant contract and ensure that such contract will remain legally effective and valid; (ii) Use its best efforts to perform all the provisions herein; (iii) Pay to Party B on time the compensation stipulated in Section VI herein; (iv) Perform on time the tax obligation on Party B’s behalf and pay on time such taxes for gaming promoters originally withheld to the Macau Government.
