Common use of Past Acts Clause in Contracts

Past Acts. Licensor hereby irrevocably releases Licensee from any and all claims of infringement of any Licensed Patents, with respect to any Licensee Product made, used, sold, offered for sale, leased, imported or otherwise transferred by or for Licensee before the Effective Date of this Agreement, to the extent that such product or service would have been licensed hereunder had it been made, used, sold, offered for sale, leased, imported or otherwise transferred after the date of this Agreement.
