Common use of Past and Future Patent Expenses Clause in Contracts

Past and Future Patent Expenses. Licensor will pay past patent expenses incurred by Licensor, before the Effective Date, which are related to filing and prosecuting the patent application included in the Patents Rights in Exhibit A, up to a maximum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). In the event past patent expenses exceed $20,000, Licensee shall reimburse Licensor the amount in excess of $20,000. As of the Effective Date, Licensee shall reimburse Licensor for all future patent expenses as set forth in Article 11 hereof.
