Common use of Patient Information Clause in Contracts

Patient Information. The Parties agree to abide (and to cause their respective Affiliates to abide), and to take (and to cause their respective Affiliates to take) all reasonable and appropriate actions to ensure that all Third Parties conducting or assisting with any clinical development activities hereunder in accordance with, and subject to the terms of, this Agreement, shall abide, to the extent applicable, by all Applicable Law concerning the confidentiality or protection of patient identifiable information and other patient’s protected health information, including data protection regulations within the Territory and outside of the Territory, in the course of their performance under this Agreement.
