Paymaster Clause Samples

A Paymaster clause designates a third-party entity responsible for receiving and distributing payments on behalf of the parties involved in a contract. In practice, the paymaster collects funds from one party and then disburses them to the appropriate recipients, often after verifying that certain conditions or milestones have been met. This arrangement is commonly used in complex transactions, such as construction projects or multi-party deals, to ensure that payments are handled impartially and according to the agreed terms. The core function of a Paymaster clause is to provide a neutral mechanism for managing payments, thereby reducing disputes and ensuring that all parties are paid correctly and on time.
