Common use of Payment as Additional Rent Clause in Contracts

Payment as Additional Rent. For each Operating Year, the Tenant shall pay as Additional Rent to the Landlord, in the manner provided herein, Tenant’s Share of Increased Operating Costs. The Landlord shall send to the Tenant an annual statement setting forth the Operating Costs for the applicable calendar year. Notwithstanding the actual costs, Tenant’s Share of Increased Operating Costs shall not increase by more than [***] percent ([***]%) per year.
