Common use of Payment Business Day Clause in Contracts

Payment Business Day. If the due date for payment of an amount in respect of a Bearer Debt Instrument is not a Payment Business Day (as defined in Condition 7.4), then the Debt Instrument Holder will not be entitled to payment of such amount until the next day which is a Payment Business Day (as defined in Condition 7.4) and no further payment on account of interest or otherwise shall be due in respect of such postponed payment unless there is a subsequent failure to pay in accordance with these Conditions, in which event interest shall continue to accrue as provided in Condition 5.5(d).
