Common use of Payment Business Day Clause in Contracts

Payment Business Day. If the date for payment of any amount in respect of any Note or Coupon is not a Payment Business Day, then the holder thereof shall not be entitled to payment of the relevant amount due until the next Payment Business Day in the relevant place (except in the case of Modified Fixed Rate Notes and Modified Floating Rate Notes where a Payment Business Day Convention is specified in the applicable Final Terms, in which case such holder will be entitled to payment on the Payment Business Day in the relevant place as determined in accordance with the Payment Business Day Convention so specified) and, in any such case, shall not be entitled to further interest or other payment in respect of such delay.
