Payment Dispute Resolution. Disputes related to payments made by DSHS to the Contractor will be resolved between DSHS and the Contractor. Disputes related to payments made by a Purchaser for services provided under this Contract shall be resolved between the Purchaser and the Contractor. The Contractor and DSHS or Purchaser will be responsible for exercising due diligence in identifying procedures related to the local level handling and forwarded appeals of payment disputes. Action pursuant to this clause by either party shall not be construed as a waiver of any legal avenue of recourse available through this Contract.
