Payment During Disability. In the event that the Executive is unable to perform his duties hereunder by reason of a disability, prior to the time such disability is deemed a Total Disability in accordance with the provisions of Section 6.1 above, the Company shall continue to pay the Executive his Base Salary and benefits pursuant to this Employment Agreement during the continuance of any such disability. Upon a determination of Total Disability pursuant to the provisions of Section 6.1 above, the Company shall pay to the Executive his Base Salary pursuant to this Employment Agreement for the 12-month period immediately subsequent to the date of determination of Total Disability.
