PAYMENT FOR FIRST WEEK OF DISABILITY. HOSPITALIZATION: If hospitalization of the employee is required from the first (1st) day of the accident or illness, paid industrial leave may be approved in the amount required to supplement the temporary disability compensation so that the employee receives an amount equal to his full, regular salary for the first (1st) week of disability if the conditions in Section 1303 are met.
