Common use of Payment Method; Currency Clause in Contracts

Payment Method; Currency. 7.7.1 All payments under this Agreement will be paid in U.S. Dollars, by wire transfer to an account designated by CRISPR (which account CRISPR may update from time to time in writing). 7.7.2 If any amounts that are relevant to the determination of amounts to be paid under this Agreement or any calculations to be performed under this Agreement are denoted in a currency other than U.S. Dollars, then such amounts will be converted to their U.S. Dollar equivalent using Vertex’s then-current standard procedures and methodology, including its then-current standard exchange rate methodology for the translation of foreign currency expenses into U.S. Dollars or, in the case of Sublicensees, such similar methodology, consistently applied.
