Common use of Payment of Death Benefit to Beneficiary Clause in Contracts

Payment of Death Benefit to Beneficiary. Before making payment of a death benefit to a beneficiary, TFLIC shall require proof of the death of the Participant who designated such beneficiary. Payment of a death benefit to a beneficiary as provided in this Contract shall be made in accordance with the beneficiary designation in effect at the time of the Participant’s death.
