Common use of Payment of Principal of and Interest on Securities Clause in Contracts

Payment of Principal of and Interest on Securities. The Company will duly and punctually pay or cause to be paid the principal of and interest, if any, on each of the Securities at the time and places and in the manner provided herein and in the Securities. Except as otherwise specified as contemplated by Section 2.01, if the Securities of any series bear interest, each installment of interest on the Securities of such series may at the option of the Company be paid (i) by mailing a check or checks for such interest payable to the person entitled thereto pursuant to Section 2.03 to the address of such person as it appears on the Register of the Securities of such series or (ii) by transfer to an account maintained by the Person entitled thereto as specified in the Register of Securities, provided that proper transfer instructions have been received by the record date.
