Common use of Payment of Principal, Premium, Interest and Additional Amounts Clause in Contracts

Payment of Principal, Premium, Interest and Additional Amounts. The Operating Partnership covenants and agrees that it will duly and punctually pay or cause to be paid when due the principal of (including the Redemption Price upon redemption pursuant to Article Eleven hereof), and premium, if any, and interest on each of the Securities at the places, at the respective times and in the manner provided herein and in the Securities; provided, that the Operating Partnership or Paying Agent may withhold from payments of interest and upon redemption pursuant to Article Three hereof, maturity or otherwise, any amounts the Operating Partnership or Paying Agent is required to withhold by law.
