Common use of Payment of Property Charges Clause in Contracts

Payment of Property Charges. 1. Any owner's property charges payable by the State for the current year on the Transfer Date are or will be paid in their entirety by the State. Those charges for the year in which the Right of Superficies is created will be settled between the Parties on and as of the Transfer Date in proportion to the time elapsed. If an assessment has not yet been imposed, the amount of the charge concerned shall be estimated by the Parties, with no subsequent adjustment of the estimate taking place. 2. No adjustment relating to charges other than those referred to in this Article shall take place.
