Common use of Payment of Senior Notes Called for Redemption Clause in Contracts

Payment of Senior Notes Called for Redemption. (a) If any notice of redemption has been given as provided in Section 11.5, the Senior Notes or portion of Senior Notes with respect to which such notice has been given shall become due and payable on the date and at the place or places stated in such notice at the applicable Optional Redemption Price. On presentation and surrender of such Senior Notes at a Place of Payment specified in such notice, the Senior Notes or the specified portions thereof shall be paid and redeemed by the Company at the applicable Optional Redemption Price. (b) Upon presentation of any Senior Note redeemed in part only, the Company shall execute and the Trustee, upon receipt of a Company Order, shall authenticate and deliver to the Holder thereof, at the expense of the Company, a new Senior Note or Senior Notes, of authorized denominations, in aggregate principal amount equal to the unredeemed portion of the Senior Note so presented and having the same Original Issue Date, Stated Maturity and terms. (c) If any Senior Note called for redemption shall not be so paid upon surrender thereof for redemption, the principal of and any premium on such Senior Note shall, until paid, bear interest from and including the Redemption Date at the rate prescribed therefor in the Senior Note.
