Common use of Payment of the Securities Clause in Contracts

Payment of the Securities. The Company shall duly and punctually pay the principal of, premium if any, and interest on the Securities on the dates and in the manner provided in the Securities and this Indenture. An installment of principal, premium, if any, or interest shall be considered paid on the date it is due if the Trustee or Paying Agent (other than the Company or any of its Subsidiaries) holds on that date money designated for and sufficient to pay the installment. The Company shall pay interest on overdue principal and premium, if any, at the rate borne by the Security; it shall pay interest, including post-petition interest in the event of a proceeding under the Bankruptcy Laws, on overdue installments of interest at the same rate to the extent lawful.
