Common use of Payment on Securities Permitted Clause in Contracts

Payment on Securities Permitted. Nothing contained in this Article Thirteen or elsewhere in this Indenture, or in any of the Securities, shall prevent the Company from making payment of the principal of, sinking fund, if any, premium, if any, or interest on the Securities, at any time, except under the conditions described in Section 1303 and except during the pendency of any Proceeding within the meaning of Section 1302. Nothing contained in this Article Thirteen or elsewhere in this Indenture, or in any of the Securities, shall prevent the application by the Trustee of any moneys deposited with it hereunder for the purpose, to the payment of or on account of the principal of, sinking fund, if any, or premium, if any, or interest on the Securities, unless the Trustee shall have received written notice, directed to it at its Corporate Trust Office as provided in Section 1310.
