PAYMENTS AND DELIVERIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary that may be required by Section 3.13 or Section 3.14 above, or elsewhere in this Agreement, in the case of securities and other assets maintained outside the United States and in the case of payments made outside the United States, Custodian and any sub-custodian appointed pursuant to this Agreement may receive and deliver such securities or other assets, and may make such payments, in accordance with the laws, regulations, customs, procedures and practices applicable in the relevant local market outside the United States.
