Payments for Public Purposes. At the time of closing of any financing that the Tribe or the Authority undertakes for purposes of purchasing or developing the Kenosha Facility, the Authority shall pay five million ($5,000,000) dollars to the City for the following purposes: (a) to establish a trust fund to support the public museums of the City, the principal of which shall be preserved and interest thereon used to defray expenses associated with the museums so as to facilitate the removal of the costs of such museums from the property tax levy,

  • Public Purpose This IGA and the services contemplated herein are for the public welfare and benefit and are undertaken in accordance with the laws and Constitution of the State of Georgia. Without limiting the foregoing, the parties specifically and expressly warrant and represent, and do hereby find, that this IGA (i) pertains to the provision of services and activities which the Parties are by law authorized to undertake and provide; (ii) is otherwise authorized under the Intergovernmental Contracts Clause of the Georgia Constitution of 1983, Art. IX, Sec. III, Par. 1(a); (iii) does not authorize the creation of new debt" as contemplated by Ga. Const. of 1 983, Art. IX, Sec. V. Par. I(a); and

  • Prohibition on Use of Public Funds for Political Activity In performing the Services, Contractor shall comply with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12G, which prohibits funds appropriated by the City for this Agreement from being expended to participate in, support, or attempt to influence any political campaign for a candidate or for a ballot measure. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 12G.

  • Submission of Certified Payroll Transcripts for Public Works Contracts Only Contractors and Subcontractors on public works projects must submit monthly payroll transcripts to the Authorized User that has prepared or directs the preparation of the plans and specifications for a public works project, as set forth in the Bid Specifications. For Mini-Bid solicitations, the payroll records must be submitted to the entity preparing the agency Mini-Bid project specification. For “agency specific” Bids, the payroll records should be submitted to the entity issuing the purchase order. For all other OGS Centralized Contracts, such records should be submitted to the individual agency issuing the purchase order(s) for the work. Upon mutual agreement of the Contractor and the Authorized User, the form of submission may be submitted in a specified disk format acceptable to the Department of Labor provided: 1) the Contractor/Subcontractor retains the original records; and, (2) an original signed letter by a duly authorized individual of the Contractor or Subcontractor attesting to the truth and accuracy of the records accompanies the disk. This provision does not apply to Article 9 of the Labor Law building services contracts.

  • How to Add or Remove Coverage for Family Members If your plan offers family coverage, you must notify your employer if you want to add or remove family members according to the Special Enrollment provisions described above. When adding or removing a family member, inform your employer in advance of the requested effective date and your employer will notify us. All requests must be made through your employer.
