Payments on Termination of Employment. 32.1 Where an employee is terminated or has terminated under notice from CSIRO, the employee will be paid the following payments on termination of their employment as appropriate: • payment of outstanding wages for hours worked including penalty rates and allowances up to the time of termination; • unused accrued annual leave entitlements and annual leave loading; and • unused accrued Long Service Leave in accordance with clause 53. 32.2 Shift workers paid under an annualised penalty arrangement will not be paid annual leave loading as it has been included in the annualised rate of salary. 32.3 Shift workers who have changed to day workers and who are subsequently terminated, will be paid annual leave loading on leave which has accrued since the date of commencement in the day work position. 32.4 Accrued RDO credits will be paid out on termination of employment, but it is expected that employees will, subject to operational reasons, use their accrued RDO’s prior to their last day of employment at CDSCC. Section Managers will support employees in taking their RDO’s prior to termination. 32.5 Accrued personal leave is not payable on termination of employment. 32.6 Any termination payment will be reduced by any amount owed to CSIRO by the employee.
