Common use of Payments Subject to Laws Clause in Contracts

Payments Subject to Laws. Save as provided in Condition 9, payments will be subject in all cases to any applicable fiscal or other laws, regulations and directives in the place of payment or other laws and regulations to which the Issuer, or its Paying or Fiscal Agents agree to be subject and the Issuer will not be liable for any taxes or duties of whatever nature imposed or levied by such laws, regulations, directives, or agreements. No commission or expenses shall be charged to the Noteholders or Couponholders in respect of such payments.
