PAYROLL LIST Clause Samples

The PAYROLL LIST clause defines the requirement for maintaining and providing a detailed record of all employees and their compensation related to a specific project or contract. Typically, this clause obligates the contractor or employer to submit periodic payroll reports, listing employee names, job classifications, hours worked, and wages paid, often to demonstrate compliance with wage laws or contract terms. Its core practical function is to ensure transparency and accountability in wage payments, helping to prevent wage theft and verify adherence to labor standards.
