PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION. The contractor’s proposal shall, together with the performance specification, form the contract requirements for the G4 Buffalo A2 vehicles. The contractor’s proposal shall meet or exceed all requirements in the Performance Specifications with the specific exception of Cooling system paragraph 3.4.2.a “...Maintain the specified component operating temperatures within the specified limits while operating continuously at full load and 0.6 tractive effort to gross vehicle weight ratio (TE/GVW) while under the maximum temperatures conditions specified herein.” and paragraph 4.9.4 “The cooling system shall be tested for maintaining the specified component operating temperatures within the specified limits while operating continuously at full load and 0.6 tractive effort...” The US Army has accepted performance at 0.5 tractive effort. G4 will also accept 0.5 tractive effort. In addition, Tires and Wheels paragraph 3.11.4 states in part “...A spare tire and wheel assembly identical to those provided on the axles shall be furnished, and provided with the vehicle.” In this case, the tires shall be provided as spares and not part of the vehicle shipment. The following specification paragraphs are also modified as follows:
PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION. Table 1 summarizes the projected output from the stack module at rated load. This table shows the DC output from the stack module, which is comprised of the output from four DFC stacks connected as two parallel strings, each with two series-connected stacks. Table 1 Nominal Stack Module Output at Rated Load * This performance is for a powerplant operating at sea level atmospheric pressure. Module DC voltage will reduce by 2 volts for every 1000 feet of elevation above sea level due to reduced cell electrochemical performance at lower pressure. In addition to this module power output decrease, there will also be BOP impacts on power and efficiency due to elevation and ambient temperature, depending on the BOP design. This performance requires the proper supply of process gasses to the module. Table 2 shows the process flows required for rated operation. * Confidential information has been omitted and filed separately with the Securities and Exchange Commission pursuant to a request for Confidential Treatment. PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION. The System shall be capable of automatically determining the terminal location of any tracked pitch with a Root Mean Square (RMS) error of no more than 0.5 inch under reasonable operating conditions. The terminal location shall be defined as the point where the pitch path crosses the plane determined as the back of the strike zone by the location of the tip of home plate. PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION. The machine will perform and handle product as per the initial URS. Changes may be required once the final version of the URS has been established at the completion of stage 1. The parties will, so soon as practicable agree full OQ and PQ documentation, in accordance, in the case of PQ, with a detailed brief produced by BPT, which shall form part of the eventual FAT and, together with IQ, the SAT test protocol. GBI will make such modifications to the machine during the course of design and/or assembly as may be necessary to ensure that the machine complies with the URS, the PQ and OQ Upon completion of the manufacture of the machine, GBI shall carry out a FAT on the principles to be agreed in detail prior to the commencement of Stage 7. The purpose of this trial shall be primarily to determine that the machine is compliant with the URS, PQ and OQ Upon satisfactory completion of the FAT, GBI shall deliver a written certification that the machine has passed the FAT and fully meets the URS and the detailed standards agreed. BPT shall work with GBI and observe such FAT. It is understood that all defects in materials, workmanship and design for relevant compliance requirements which may be identified as a result of the FAT will be corrected GBI prior to the issue of the certificate of compliance unless specifically directed to the contrary by BPT.
