Common use of Permanent Reassignment of Employee to Higher Salary Classification Clause in Contracts

Permanent Reassignment of Employee to Higher Salary Classification. An Employee permanently reassigned to a position in a higher salary classification will not lose credit for service in the District. For permanent assignments, the rate of pay will be determined by moving to the equal or next higher cell of the new position, whichever is lower, plus a minimum of three (3) cells.
