Permanent Stabilization Clause Samples

The Permanent Stabilization clause establishes requirements and standards for ensuring that a structure, site, or system remains stable and secure over the long term. Typically, this clause outlines the methods, materials, and timelines necessary to achieve lasting stabilization, such as the use of retaining walls, erosion control measures, or permanent supports. Its core practical function is to prevent future instability, damage, or safety hazards by mandating that stabilization efforts are not temporary but are designed to endure for the foreseeable future.
