Permitted Encumbrances and the Ground Lease. NAI must comply with and will cause to be performed all of the covenants, agreements and obligations imposed upon the owner of any interest in the Property by the Permitted Encumbrances or the Ground Lease throughout the period prior to any Termination of NAI’s Work. NAI must not, without the prior consent of BNPPLC, create any new Permitted Encumbrance or enter into, initiate, approve or consent to any modification of any Permitted Encumbrance that would create or expand or purport to create or expand obligations or restrictions encumbering BNPPLC’s interest in the Property. (Whether BNPPLC must give any such consent requested by NAI prior to the Completion Date will be governed by subparagraph 4(C) of the Closing Certificate.)
