Personal to Tenant. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, Tenant’s Extension Option is personal to Tenant and in no event shall such Extension Option be assignable (other than pursuant to a Business Transfer, as defined in Section 11.04 of the Lease).

All Options provided to Tenant in this Lease are personal and granted solely to Palo Alto Networks, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and any transferee of Tenant’s entire interest under this Lease following a Permitted Transfer, and are not exercisable by any other person or entity whether or not a Transfer has occurred unless Landlord consents to permit exercise of any Option by any assignee or subtenant in Landlord’s sole and absolute discretion. All Options provided to Tenant in this Lease shall terminate upon the expiration or sooner termination of this Lease.

Personal to Tenant. The Option to Extend is personal to the party executing this Lease as Tenant and to any assignee or sublessee that is in possession of the Premises due to a Permitted Affiliate Transfer (each, a “Permitted Assignee”, and collectively, the “Permitted Assignees”), but may not otherwise be assigned or transferred to or exercised by any assignee, sublessee or other transferee. If said Tenant or a Permitted Assignee assigns this Lease or sublets all or substantially all of the Premises in an assignment or subletting that requires Landlord’s prior consent under Article 38 of the Lease prior to the exercise of the Option to Extend, the Option to Extend shall lapse. If said Tenant or a Permitted Assignee assigns this Lease or sublets all or substantially all of the Premises in an assignment or subletting that requires Landlord’s prior consent under Article 38 of the Lease after the exercise of the Option to Extend, but prior to the commencement of the Extended Term, the Option to Extend shall lapse and this Lease shall expire as if the Option to Extend had not been exercised, unless such restriction is expressly waived in writing by Landlord (which election shall be in Landlord’s sole discretion).

In the event Tenant has multiple options to extend this Lease, a later option to extend the Lease cannot be exercised unless the prior option has been properly exercised.

(or a permitted transferee as described in Section 17.E) and are not exercisable by any third party should Tenant assign or sublet all or a portion of its rights under this Lease, unless Landlord consents to permit exercise of any option by any assignee or subtenant, in Landlord’s sole and absolute discretion.
Personal to Tenant. The Expansion Option is personal to Tenant and its affiliates, except that the Expansion Option may be transferred in connection with a Permitted Transfer described in Section 8.3 of the Lease.
Personal to Tenant. The Option provided to Tenant in this Article 5 are not exercisable by any other person or entity whether or not a Transfer has occurred unless Landlord consents to permit exercise of any Option by any assignee or subtenant in Landlord’s sole and absolute discretion; provided, however, that Tenant may include such Option in a Transfer to an assignee of the Tenant’s entire interest in this Lease approved by Landlord pursuant to Article 14 of this Lease or to a Permitted Transferee, and, in such case the Option would be exercisable by such assignee or Permitted Transferee. All Options provided to Tenant in this Lease shall terminate upon the expiration or sooner termination of this Lease and shall not apply during any holdover period.
