The 'Phase 2 - Construction' clause defines the terms and conditions governing the commencement and execution of the second phase of a project, specifically the construction stage. Phase 2 Construction. Consultant shall provide Construction Contract Administration (CA) and Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services necessary to meet County standards. Consultant shall monitor the work of the Construction Contractor (CC) and document the work and compile the results of the CC's Quality Control program in accordance with approved plans and specifications. CA/CEI services will be performed until the Contractor’s 2021 winter shut down. An amendment will be required for CA/CEI service beyond the beginning of the 2021 winter construction shut down. CA/CEI work tasks include supporting the team lead in project/team management, contract management, construction review of CC submittals, construction inspection, quality and quantity assurance documentation, and record drawings necessary for completion of the project.
Phase 2 Construction. The project consists of 0.38 miles of existing HMA and concrete pavement removal; detouring traffic; demolition and construction of two bridge structures; earth excavation and embankment; MSE and cast-in-place concrete retaining wall with brick-façade construction; storm sewer and water main construction; underdrains; aggregate base and sand sub-base; concrete pavement with integral curb and gutter; HMA pavement with concrete curb and gutter; concrete sidewalk; pavement markings; and all related work along E. Stadium Boulevard between Kipke Drive and
Phase 2 Construction. Upon approval of all design plans by the Authority, a Certificate to Construct will be issued to the developer.
