Common use of Physical Damage Insurance Policy Clause in Contracts

Physical Damage Insurance Policy. In connection with the purchase of each Receivable, the Seller required the related Dealer to furnish evidence that the related Financed Vehicle was covered by a physical damage insurance policy (i) in an amount at least equal to the lesser of (a) the actual cash value of the related Financed Vehicle or (b) the unpaid principal balance owing on such Receivable, (ii) naming the Seller as a loss payee and (iii) insuring against loss and damage due to fire, theft, transportation, collision and other risks generally covered by comprehensive and collision coverage.
