Common use of PILOT Generally Clause in Contracts

PILOT Generally. (i) It is recognized that under the provisions of the Act the Agency is required to pay no Real Estate Taxes upon any of the property acquired by it or under its jurisdiction or control or supervision or upon its activities. The Agency and the Lessee agree, however, that the Lessee shall be required to pay PILOT with respect to the Facility Realty in accordance with the provisions of this Section 5.1, as follows: (i) with respect to the Land, PILOT shall be payable in the amounts determined pursuant to Sections 5.1(e), (g), (h) and (i); and (ii) with respect to the Improvements, PILOT shall be payable in the amounts determined pursuant to Sections 5.1(f), (g), (h) and (i).
