Placement of Teachers of Vocational Subjects. On initial engagement teachers holding a vocational certificate in vocational subjects or Letters of Authority in vocational subjects, may at the discretion of the School Division be advanced up to two (2) increments on the applicable basic salary schedule above the applicable initial salary at which point they will remain until they are entitled to the second or third increment as the case may be, after which they will begin regular progress on the Basic Schedule.
