Placing Large Volumes of Concrete. Each monolithic section shall be placed in one continuous operation. Whenever the volume is too great to be place in one continuous operation, the work shall be sub-divided as shown in the plan or as directed by the Superintending Engineer. In general the order of construction or sequence of the work will be as indicated on the plans.
