Platform Descriptions. DigitalCX is a platform for managing customer interaction and engagement through journey modelling and contextual knowledge management. DigitalCX is a full cloud solution, offered as SaaS, deployed on Microsoft Azure under an Enterprise agreement with EU data privacy protection. The high level system set-up can be depicted as such: when you log in to ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇, you access the Dev Tier which holds DigitalCX’s CMS. This is where the settings of your production Engine, your journeys and knowledge are administered content-wise. Users can have different roles that have different access to functionalities. Part of this environment is the Engine, which handles questions with natural language understanding, handles events and Custom Logic. Custom Logic is the JavaScript functionality inside the Engine that can be used to customize the way the Engine works, and provide integrations into external systems. Additionally, there’s a QA environment that runs continuously to check the quality of the administered Content, thus helping users with their management of this Content. The Staging Tier is intended for compliance and acceptance testing for our clients, and can be used for approving new content, design and other user experiences (UX). The Staging environment thus holds the Engine for testing all interactions. The Production Tier (also called “Prod Tier”) just holds the Engine that the Customers use on their website, thus deploying the content that was administered in the Dev Tier.
