Police Funerals Out of Town. (a) The Board agrees that a minimum of two (2) Police Officers will be detailed to attend all designated Police Funerals of Police Officers killed while on duty within Canada. In the event an on duty member is selected to attend, any such regularly scheduled time for the member shall be covered by the Service. For greater clarity the on-duty member approved to attend shall not lose time for attending such function. (b) A police vehicle will be used for travel to funeral service locations within approximately four hundred and eighty (480) kilometers.
