Common use of Police Powers Clause in Contracts

Police Powers. The CITY expressly reserves, and the PROVIDER expressly recognizes, the CITY’s right and duty to adopt, from time to time, in addition to provisions herein contained, such ordinances and rules and regulations as the CITY may deem necessary in the exercise of its police power for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of its citizens and their properties.
