Common use of Policy Deductibles and/or Self-Insured Retentions Clause in Contracts

Policy Deductibles and/or Self-Insured Retentions. The policies set forth in these requirements may provide coverage, which contain deductibles or self insured retention amounts. Such deductibles or self insured retention shall not be applicable with respect to the policy limits provided to Gilbert. Contractor shall be solely responsible for any such deductible or self insured retention amount. Gilbert, at its option, may require Contractor to secure payment of such deductible or self insured retention by a surety bond or irrevocable and unconditional Letter of Credit.
