Policy Interpretation. The interpretation of this Policy and any word or phrase contained in the Policy will be interpreted in accordance with the Laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Policy Interpretation. This Policy is subject to the laws of the Hong Kong and the parties hereto agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong.

(d) all references to specific legislation are English legislation unless otherwise stated and include amendments to and re-enactments of such legislation and similar legislation in any jurisdiction in which a claim is made;
(e) references to positions, offices, functions or titles include their equivalents in any jurisdiction;
(f) any prior consents required to be given by either party are not to be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed.
Policy Interpretation. This leave is granted to pregnant employees. Maternity leave is available to all pregnant employees, regardless of the length of their employment. The leave is without pay. If the employee gives birth after the expected due date, the length of the leave is not extended. In addition to the leave granted under s.50(1), (1.1), or (2), an employee can apply for an additional six weeks’ leave under s.50(3), where appropriate. The employee may request, and the employer may grant, a longer period of leave under this Part. A leave granted in excess of the required minimum does not relieve the employer of its obligations under s.54 of the Act. Section 51 provides parents with additional statutory rights to Parental Leave.
