Common use of Policy, Rules, and Regulations Clause in Contracts

Policy, Rules, and Regulations. (A) The Contractor shall be aware of, comply with, and be bound by the State Plan and the Department’s policies and procedures, the Provider Manuals and Medicaid Information Bulletins, as applicable, and shall ensure that the Contractor and its Participating Providers comply with the policies and procedures in effect at the time when services are rendered.

The Department shall inform the Contractor of any changes to the State Plan, Provider Manuals, and Medicaid Information Bulletins before the effective date of any changes that the Contractor is obligated to comply with pursuant to this paragraph.
