Common use of Possession by the Mortgagee Clause in Contracts

Possession by the Mortgagee. Notwithstanding the appointment of any receiver, liquidator or trustee of the Mortgagor, any of its property or the Encumbered Property, the Mortgagee shall be entitled, to the extent not prohibited by applicable law, to remain in possession and control of all parts of the Encumbered Property now or hereafter granted under this Mortgage in accordance with the terms hereof and applicable law.
