Power Factor Adjustment a. Service Delivered and Metered at 4 kV or Greater: The charges will be adjusted each month for reactive demand. The charges will be increased by 20 cents per kilovar of maximum reactive demand imposed on the Company in excess of 20% of the maximum number of kilowatts. The maximum reactive demand shall be the highest measured maximum average kilovar demand indicated or recorded by metering to be supplied by the Company during any 15-minute metered interval in the month. The kilovars shall be determined to the nearest unit. A device will be installed on each kilovar meter to prevent reverse operation of the meter.
Power Factor Adjustment. The Customer agrees to maintain unity (100%) power factor as nearly as possible. The demand charges may be adjusted to correct for average power factors less than five percent (5%) unity (lagging) or greater than five percent (5%) unity (leading) by increasing the measured demand one percent (1%) for each one percent (1%) by which the average power factor is less than five percent (5%) unity (lagging) or more than five percent (5%) unity (leading).
Power Factor Adjustment. A Power Factor meeting the contractual requirements of the Transmission and Power Supply Providers must be maintained at the two metering locations (Meters M1 and M2) where the City’s 138 kV transmission lines connect to Substation B. The Power Factor of Facility will be measured through the meters (Meters M3 and M4) located at the Facility Delivery Point(s). The Power Factor of the City’s transmission facilities connected to Substation B will be measured through meters (Meters M5 and M6) located on the high-voltage side of the 138/69 kV step-down transformers. The combined Power Factor of the City and the Facility electric loads will be augmented through the use of two 21.6 MVAR, 138 kV capacitor banks to assist in Power Factor correction. Coffeyville Resources may elect to use the Facility’s 37,000 H.P. synchronous motor to fine-tune the Power Factor requirements. The data obtained from meters M3 through M6 will be used to determine the MVAR requirements of the Facility and the City. To the extent not otherwise recovered under SPP Charges, the costs of any necessary reactive supply and voltage control ancillary services supplied by the SPP will be billed to Coffeyville Resources and the City accordingly. All additional costs incurred by the City to adjust the Facility’s Power Factor deficiencies will be billed through part 5 of this Rate Schedule.
Power Factor Adjustment. The consumer shall at all times take and use power in such a manner that the power factor shall be as near one-hundred percent (100%) as practicable. The total charges under this agreement shall be adjusted to correct for average power factor lower than ninety percent (90%). Such adjustments will be made by increasing the total charges by one percent (1%) for each one percent (1%) by which the average power factor is less than ninety percent (90%) lagging.
Power Factor Adjustment. These rates are based on Kennecott’s maintaining at all times a Power Factor of 90% lagging, or higher, as determined by the measurement and averaging of all Points of Delivery. If the average Power Factor is found to be less than 90% lagging, the Measured Demand as recorded by the Company's meter will be increased by 3/4 of 1% for every 1% that the Power Factor is less than 90%.
Power Factor Adjustment. The power factor to be maintained shall be not less than 90% lagging. If the Company determines customer's power factor to be less than 90%, the billing demand will be the number of kilowatts equal to the kilovolt amperes multiplied by 0.90. At the Company's option, power factor may be determined by the following methods:
Power Factor Adjustment. The power factor to be maintained shall be not less than 90% lagging. If the Company determines the customer's power factor to be less than 90%, the on peak and off peak billing demands will be the number of kilowatts equal to the respective on peak and off peak kilovolt amperes multiplied by 0.90. The power factor, as determined by continuous measurement, will be derived from the intervals in which the maximum on peak and off peak kW demands are established. LATE PAYMENT CHARGE Payment of the Net Monthly Bill must be received in the Company's office within twenty-one (21) days from the date the bill is mailed by the Company. When not so paid, the Gross Monthly Bill, which is the Net Monthly Bill plus 5%, is due and payable.
Power Factor Adjustment. An adjustment to Customer’s bill that CPAU may make when necessary due to Customer maintaining low Power Factor. CPAU must install additional equipment to correct for Customers that maintain a low Power Factor. CPAU, and may make a Power Factor Adjustment to a Customer’s bill to account for those costs to install additional equipment to correct for Customers that maintain a low Power Factor and the additional energy costs and losses incurred by CPAU due to the Customer’s low Power Factor. Premise(s) All structures, apparatus, or portion thereof occupied or operated by an individual(s), a family, or a business enterprise, and situated on an integral parcel of land undivided by a public street, highway, or railway.
Power Factor Adjustment. Ethanol Plant shall maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable. Demand charges will be adjusted to correct for an average monthly power factor lower than 95%. Such adjustments will be made by increasing the measured demand 1% for each 1% by which the average power factor is less than 95% lagging or leading. Minimum Monthly Charge The minimum monthly charge under the above rates shall be $8,000.
Power Factor Adjustment. Power factor adjustments will be made in the billing demand, when the power factor, as determined by test, at the time of the customer’s maximum use is less than 93%. The measured maximum kW demand will be multiplied by 93 and divided by the customer’s power factor (expressed in percent) determined at the time of the customer’s maximum use.
